Ocean has been hit or miss this past week. A .8 drift has yielded best action on most offshore wrecks. No drift equals no fluke. Jeremy Loud has been consistently hitting SE parts of cholera with mixed results. He explains better fluke action occurs away from the pots. Guys drifting through the pots are swormed by knot head seabass. Emil Suhrada nailed a nice 12.18 lb flattie in jones inlet on a spearing/teaser combo on the outgoing tide. Local fluking has been just ok with lots of action. Daniel Valentine fished the meadowbrook area and reported lots of postage stamps with the occasional keeper. All fish were taken on a single bucktail with two spearing. Snappers are growing fast and should be catchable within the next few weeks.
